Clira: composition

  • Dark yellow tablets: estradiol valerate, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, corn starch;
  • Light yellow tablets: estradiol valerate, dienogest, corn starch, magnesium stearate, lactose monohydrate;
  • Dark red tablets: estradiol valerate, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, corn starch;
  • Light red tablets: estradiol valerate, dienogest, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, corn starch;
  • White tablets (placebo): magnesium stearate, corn starch, lactose monohydrate.

In each package there are 26 colored tablets and2 white (placebo). During the course it is recommended to follow the rules described in the manual, otherwise the contraceptive effect is reduced. For the convenience of taking seven tablets with the names of the days of the week are attached to the tablets. They should be glued on the blister so that it is easier to monitor the daily intake of tablets. Minor vaginal bleeding begins while taking a white pill or a second dark red - this is normal and does not affect the effectiveness of the drug. If the admission rules are followed, each new package must begin on a specific day of the week. Tablets are taken in the sequence in which they are placed in the blister, starting with a dark yellow. Claira should be stopped after another menses, it is not recommended to do this in the middle of the cycle.

Indications for use:

  • Oral contraception;
  • Treatment of prolonged / severe menstrual bleeding without the presence of organic pathologies.

Contraindications:

  • Stroke, myocardial infarction, thromboembolism of the pulmonary artery;
  • Venous / arterial thrombosis in the anamnesis;
  • Extensive surgery, pathology of the heart valves, hypertension;
  • Migraine, focal neurological symptoms;
  • Pancreatitis, diabetes mellitus, severe hepatic impairment;
  • Liver disease, liver tumors with metastases;
  • Hormone-dependent cancers;
  • Vaginal bleeding of unknown origin;
  • Suspicion of pregnancy, pregnancy;

Overdose:
