Recipe for Babka

  • Potatoes - 1,5 Kilogram
  • Bacon (lard) - 150 Grams
  • Eggs - 3 pieces
  • Sour cream 1/2 cup
  • Milk - 1 cup
  • Butter - 3 teaspoons
  • Salt, pepper - - To taste

Slices of bacon or slices of fat with streaksFry in a pan until the state of squash. We are cleaning potatoes. Next, the potatoes must either be grated or crushed using a food processor. I prefer the second :) Grated potatoes put in gauze. We squeeze all the liquid out of the potatoes. Mix the pressed grated potatoes, cracklings, milk, sour cream and eggs. Solim and pepper to taste. We mix it well. The resulting mass is transferred to the baking dish. On top put a few slices of butter. Bake approximately 55 minutes at a temperature of 185 degrees, after which it is slightly cooled and served to the table. Bon Appetit! ;)
