Recipe for Spicy Nuts

Ingredients:
  • Egg white - 1 piece
  • Pecans - 3 1/2 cups
  • Granulated sugar - 2/3 Cups
  • Cocoa - 1/4 cup
  • Ground cinnamon - 1 1/2 teaspoons
  • Ground ginger - 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Cayenne pepper - 1 pinch
  • Ground sweet pepper - 1 pinch
Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 120 degrees, oil a large baking tray. In a medium-sized bowl, beat egg white into a foam. 2. Add pecans and stir until all the nuts are evenly coated with protein mass. 3. In a small bowl, beat up sugar, cocoa powder, ground cinnamon, ground ginger, cayenne pepper and ground allspice. Add the sugar mixture to the nuts and stir until the nuts are evenly coated with the mixture. 4. Lay the pecans on the baking sheet in one layer. 5. Bake in the oven at 120 degrees for one hour, stirring every 15-20 minutes, until the nuts are dry and the sugar remains on your fingers when touched.
