Recipe Gem from blackberries
- Blackberry 750 Grams
- Sugar - 250-400 Grams (to taste)
- Lemon - 1 piece
- Dried rosemary - 1 teaspoon (optional)
First you need to rinse the berries well. Clear from quarrels, rotten fruits and stems. Blackberries put in a saucepan and covered with sugar (the amount depends on the degree of sweetness of blackberries and on your taste) and leave for 1-2 hours to insist. Next, in a saucepan squeeze the juice of one lemon and add a spoonful of rosemary (for gourmet) and put on the fire, bringing the contents to a boil. All this time, stir the jam with a wooden spoon, so that the sugar is completely dissolved. Remove from heat. Cool and put overnight in the refrigerator. The next day, the jam again bring to a boil, then cook for 10 minutes over medium heat, stirring occasionally the contents. Then, using a blender and a sieve, crush the blackberries and return them to the fire again, boiling for 5 minutes, stirring all the time.
