Recipe for Sweet Buns

  • Flour - 6 1/4 Cups
  • Salt - 1 pinch
  • Sugar - 1/4 cup
  • Baking powder - 1 st. a spoon
  • Butter - 3/4 Cups
  • Large eggs - 4 pieces
  • Milk - 1 3/4 Cups

Preheat the oven to 245 degrees. Line the baking tray with parchment paper, set aside. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, salt, sugar and baking powder. Make a groove in the center and add butter. Hand knead the dough. In a small bowl, whip 3 eggs and milk. Add the mixture to the flour mixture and mix. Put the dough on a floured work surface. Roll out to 2.5 cm in thickness. Using a cutter, cut the buns and lay them on a prepared baking sheet. In a small bowl, whip the remaining egg and grease each bun. Sprinkle with sugar. Bake until golden brown, from 12 to 14 minutes. Put the buns on the grill and allow to cool slightly before serving.
