Sauce from gooseberry

  • Gooseberries - 350-400 Grams
  • Apple - 250 Grams
  • Onions - 1 Piece (Better violet)
  • Light raisins - 50 Grams
  • Sugar - 4 Art. Spoons
  • Sol - 1 Pinch
  • Spice - 1 Slice (cinnamon (stick), ground ginger, ground chili, ground cloves)
  • Vinegar (5%) - 4-5 Teaspoons

Prepare all the ingredients. Gooseberries need to be thoroughly washed, cleaned from the peduncles. In the pot, add the vinegar, sugar, cinnamon and other spices and bring all the contents to a boil. Further in the pan add the purified gooseberry, carefully washed in boiling water raisins, diced apple and onions. Cover everything with a lid and leave to soak over medium heat for a few minutes. Next, remove the lid, and evaporate the sauce on the same medium heat, stirring occasionally, until it thickens. Cook for about 35-40 minutes. At the end of cooking, you can add sugar, if too sour, or vinegar - if, conversely, sweet.
