Recipe for Shakarlam with almonds

  • Wheat flour - 5 glasses
  • Sour cream - 1 glass
  • Butter - 200 Grams
  • Almonds - 150 Grams
  • Walnuts - 50 Grams
  • Cardamon - 7-8 pieces
  • Sugar - 1,5 cups

Here are our ingredients. Nuts (almonds and walnuts) should be burned in a dry frying pan for about 1 minute. Grind the nuts with a blender. Not into dust, but small enough. Eggs with sugar beat to the consistency of foam. Mix the beaten eggs with sugar, a third of sifted flour, crushed nuts and cardamom (if using a powder - then literally a third of a teaspoon), melted butter and sour cream. Stirring. Gradually adding the remaining flour, we knead a dense, but soft enough dough. Roll the dough into a layer 1 cm thick. Using the most ordinary glass, we cut out our future cookies. From the remaining scraps roll a new ball, roll it into the layer and cut out the biscuit pieces again. We lay out the circular plaques cut out by us on a baking tray, covered with parchment paper. We put the pan in a preheated oven to 180 degrees and bake for about 30 minutes. Ready cookies lightly cool and serve for tea or coffee. Pleasant!
