Ginger ale recipe

  • Ginger (peeled and sliced) - 2 Cups
  • Water - 2 Cups
  • Sugar - 1,5 cups
  • Carbonated Water - 1 Liter
  • Lime - 1 piece

Ingredients. We clean and cut thin plates with ginger root. In total, we need 2 cups of sliced ​​ginger. Put the ginger in a medium-sized saucepan. Then add 2 cups of water. We put the saucepan on medium-high fire and bring it to a boil. Boil on low heat for 5 minutes. Then remove from heat, cover with a lid and let it brew for about 1 hour. After an hour, filter the liquid through a fine sieve. The remaining ginger is no longer needed. Pour the filtered liquid back into the pan. Add the sugar and put it on a slow fire. Warm up the syrup until the sugar is completely dissolved, then remove it from the heat and cool it. Chilled ginger syrup poured into a jar or bottle and sent to storage in the refrigerator. Ginger syrup is ready, and now we will prepare ginger ale directly. To do this, squeeze out the juice from lime. Then mix the lime juice with mint leaves, ginger syrup and carbonated water. I consider the following combination ideal: 1 part of lime juice, 2 parts of ginger syrup and 3 parts of soda. Mint leaves - to taste. Mix the liquid in the above proportions, pour it on the glasses. Add ice directly to the glasses. We decorate and serve. A refreshing ginger ale is ready!
