Recipe for Sweet and Sour Sauce

Ingredients:
  • Canned pineapple - 800 Grams
  • Tomato paste - 1.5 Art. Spoons
  • Sugar - 2 items. Spoons
  • Starch - 1 st. a spoon
  • Carrots - 2 pieces
  • Red bell pepper - 1 piece
  • 5% vinegar - To taste
Instructions

1. Pour the pineapple juice into a small saucepan, add 100 ml of water and put on a slow fire. Add the tomato paste and sugar, mix. 2. Dilute starch in water and gradually add to the sauce. Stir until the sauce thickens. Add the necessary amount of vinegar to give acid. 3. Add chopped carrots and bell peppers, as well as pieces of pineapple. 4. Boil for 5 minutes, then turn off the fire. The sauce is ready.
