Recipe Baked sweet potatoes with bacon and cheese

  • Sweet potato - 2 Kilogram
  • Strips of bacon - 4 pieces
  • Onion - 1 piece
  • Flour - 2.5 Art. Spoons

  • Milk - 2 cups (low fat content)
  • Parmesan cheese - 5/4 Cups

1. Preheat the oven to 175 degrees. Peel the potatoes, cut into slices. Put the potatoes in a large saucepan with boiling water. Cook for 5-10 minutes. Set aside. 2. Meanwhile, fry the bacon in a large frying pan over medium heat until crispy. Put on a paper towel to drain off the fat. Cut the bacon into small pieces and set aside. 3. Add finely chopped onions and fry until soft. Mix with flour on low heat and fry until the consistency of the paste. Add salt and pepper. 4. Add the milk and cook until the mixture thickens a little. 5. Put half the sweet potatoes in a roasting dish. Sprinkle with half the pieces of bacon. Pour half of the onion-and-milk mixture. Then put the remaining potatoes, sprinkle with the remaining bacon and pour the remaining sauce. 6. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese on top. Bake in a preheated oven for 20 minutes until the potatoes become soft. Immediately submit. Tip: You can prepare this dish in advance, cover it and put it in the refrigerator for one day. Preheat at 160 degrees in the oven for 15 minutes, then remove the lid and continue frying until the dish is warmed up completely.
