A recipe for jam from watermelon crusts
- Watermelon peel - 1 Kilogram
- Soda - 2-3 Art. Spoons
- Sugar - 1.5 Kilogram
For jam you need 1 kg of watermelon crusts. At the first stage, it is important to remove the top layer of the green crust - leaving only the white and light pink parts. Cut into slices as you are told by intuition and imagination. Make a solution - water and soda (for 1 liter of water 2-3 tablespoons of soda) and soak the crust for 2-3 hours. Then the rind needs to be rinsed well, placed in a saucepan slightly boiled, filtered from water, and then added to the syrup that is prepared in advance. Syrup boil from two glasses of water and 1.5 kg of sugar. Then syrup and crust cook until transparent.
