Recipe Mango Gem

  • Sugar - 350 Grams
  • Mango - 500 Grams
  • Melon - 300 Grams
  • Lemon - 1 piece
  • Cinnamon stick - 1 piece

Mango and melon clean and cut into smallCubes. We fall asleep with their sugar and juice of one lemon. Squeezed lemon is not thrown away - it is still useful. We put in the fruit a stick of cinnamon - and send it to the refrigerator for 3-4 hours. Then from the fruit we get a stick of cinnamon, we throw it away. All the contents of the container - the fruit together with the allocated juice - is put into a saucepan. There we put the squeezed lemon, cut into 5-6 parts. Bring to a boil, then cook for another 20 minutes over medium heat. Then cool the pan and put it in the refrigerator for the night. The next day, we warm up the contents of the pan (but do not boil), we throw out the squeezed lemon, and we use the blender to scrub everything else. The resulting puree is cooked for 30 minutes, poured into jars and put in the refrigerator. In the fridge, it thickens and gains a consistency of jam.
