Apple coder with sweet potatoes Recipe

Ingredients:
  • Light brown sugar - 1/2 cup
  • Lemon peel - 1 piece

  • Flour - 1 1/4 Cups
  • Baking powder - 3 1/2 teaspoons

  • Honey - 1 st. a spoon
  • Salt - 3/4 Teaspoons
Instructions

1. Peel apples and finely chop. Peel and cut the sweet potatoes. Preheat the oven to 190 degrees. In a large bowl, combine the sweet potatoes with 3 teaspoons of melted butter, 1 teaspoon brown sugar and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon. Mix together until the potatoes are well coated with the mixture. 2. Lay the potatoes on a baking sheet with a silicone mat. Cover freely with foil and bake for 20 minutes, until cooked. Make a mash and set aside. 3. In a large bowl, mix the brown sugar, lemon zest and cinnamon to fill. 4. In a frying pan, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over high heat. Add the apples. Fry, stirring, 5 minutes, until cooked. Gently add to the sugar mixture, mix. 5. Put the mixture in a baking dish, cover and keep warm. 6. In a medium bowl, mix 1 cup of sweet potato, milk, honey and butter. 7. Sift together the flour, baking powder, sugar and salt. Add to the potato mixture. 8. Gently mix all the ingredients together to make a soft dough. 9. Put the potato mixture over the apple mixture. 10. Bake until the golden color of the top, 35-40 minutes. Allow to stand for 15 minutes before serving. Serve with vanilla ice cream.
