- Sugar - 8 Art. Spoons
- Water - 8 items. Spoons
- Vinegar 9% - 1 - 1.5 Art. Spoons (the amount of vinegar is taken depending on how much acid you want to get candy)
- Vegetable oil - 1 st. Spoon (we need oil for lubricating molds)
We measure the amount of sugar, water we needAnd vinegar. Place all ingredients in a saucepan, put on a slow fire and constantly stir. This is how our semi-finished product will look like before we are ready. The cooking process took about 10 minutes. We are checking the caramel readiness like this - we dip a wooden stick or toothpick into caramel and dip it into a glass with cold water. Chilled caramel should crunch on the teeth. The most important thing at this stage is not to digest caramel. Otherwise it will be bitter. I have this form for candy. It is necessary to carefully lubricate the grooves with vegetable oil. If we badly miss them, then our candies will be poorly taken out of the mold. Gently pour the hot caramel into the molds, put a toothpick into each and leave the minutes for 10-15 to cool. If you do not have a special form - it does not matter! It can easily be replaced with an ordinary spoon, ice molds or other capacity you like. We take out our candies from the form and can treat our children! If desired, you can sprinkle them with sugar, seeds, nuts. If you want to make candy colored - add caramel mass before pouring into the form of a droplet of ordinary greens, beet juice or any other natural color.
