We proceed immediately to the filling. We will cut the onion into thin semirings. Fry the onion until golden, then add the diced potatoes to it in small cubes. Fry all together for another 5-6 minutes. Now add the pepper paste to the pan. Surely you have a question - what is it. I explain. Pepper paste (in Moldova it is called Cherveno) is a pasta with a high concentration of ground peppers. If you do not have such a paste - you can try to grind a few peppers in a blender. In extreme cases - add tomato paste and ground pepper. Together with the pasta, add the savory, salt and pepper to the pan. Stirring. Stew about 5-6 minutes, then remove it from the fire. Dough, I repeat, should already be ready and waiting for us. As for the herring, it is possible to take ready-made fillets, but I do not trust the mechanical ways to separate the fillets from fish and therefore do everything manually. So, we take the herring. And turn it into small pieces of herring fillets. Again, if you do not want to mess with the fish - you can take a ready-made fillet. From our test we roll out a thick cake with a diameter of approximately 35-40 cm. We put vegetable filling and fish fillets in the center. Carefully fasten the edges. We put fish on a greased baking sheet. The baking tray is sent to a preheated oven for 180-190 degrees for 40 minutes, after which the fish will be ready. It remains only to get it, slightly cool it, cut it and serve it. Pleasant!
