Ingredients:

  • Light brown sugar - 1 cup
  • Extract of vanilla - 1 teaspoon
  • Eggs - 2 pieces
  • Apple sauce - 1 1/2 cups
  • Walnuts - 1/2 cup
  • For the glaze: cream cheese - 150 grams

1. Preheat the oven to 175 degrees with the counter in the center. Lubricate the cake pan and vanish with parchment paper. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, soda, salt and spices. Beat butter, brown sugar and vanilla extract in a separate bowl with an electric mixer at high speed, 2 to 3 minutes. Add the eggs one by one, whisking after each addition, and then beat up with apple sauce. Reduce the speed to low and add the floury mixture. Then add chopped walnuts (if used). The dough will look a little uneven. Put the dough evenly into the prepared form. 2. Bake until golden brown, about 35 to 40 minutes. Leave to cool for 15 minutes. Extract the cake from the mold and put on a plate, allow to cool completely. You can speed up the cooling by putting the cake in the fridge. 3. Make the glaze. Beat cream cheese, butter and vanilla extract with an electric mixer at high speed. Add the sifted powdered sugar and cinnamon, whisk at medium speed until smooth. 4. Lubricate the cooked glaze with a chilled pie. Keep the cake in the fridge.
