Recipe Chicken in milk with saffron and lemon zest
- Chicken (slice) - 300 grams
- Milk - 120 Milliliters
- Butter - 1 st. a spoon
- Garlic - 2 Teeth
- Lemon peel - 3-4 slices
- Salt, pepper, saffron - - To taste
Oven set to warm up to 200 degrees. A piece of my chicken, salt and pepper. The cloves of garlic are squashed with the flat side of the knife. Piece the whole chicken frying over high heat in butter. Approximately 3 minutes on each side - inside the chicken will still be soft, but outside is already covered with a confident crust. We put the chicken in a baking dish, we put garlic in it. In the frying pan, where the chicken was roasted, we make sauce. Pour the milk, add saffron and a couple of slices of lemon peel (peel it is convenient to peel vegetable peelings). Bring to a boil - and remove from the fire. The resulting sauce is poured into the chicken. We put in the oven, heated to 200 degrees, and bake for about 25-30 minutes. In the process of baking, take out the shape from the oven and pour the chicken sauce over it - to soak, rather than dry out. A ready-to-serve chicken is served with your favorite side dish - the best is the potato. Pleasant!
