Mexican pasta from beans Recipe

  • Spotted beans - 2 1/2 cups
  • Water - 1.3 liters
  • Bulb - 1 piece
  • Red pepper flakes - 1/2 Art. Spoons
  • Paprika - 1/2 Art. Spoons
  • Light brown sugar - 2 items. Spoons
  • Salt - 4 items. Spoons

1. If possible, soak the beans overnight. This will shorten the cooking time. If there is no such possibility, do not worry, follow the instructions below. Wash the beans. Add the beans in a saucepan and add water. Water should exceed beans by at least 7.5-10 cm. 2. Cook beans 2 1/2 hours and about 1 1/2 hours pre-soaked beans. When the beans are ready, drain the water, reserving 1 glass of water. 3. Put the beans aside. 4. In a frying pan fry the chopped onion, red pepper flakes, paprika and brown sugar for 5 minutes. 5. Add to the pan with beans along with a reserved glass of liquid. 6. Using a submerged blender, lightly mix beans. 7. If you do not have a submersible blender, you can use a potato press. 8. Salt the beans if necessary. You can also add more red pepper flakes if you want. Immediately submit. Ready pasta can be decorated with cilantro, green onions or cheese.
