Recipe Venezuelan banana cake

  • Flour - 1,5 Cups

  • Butter - 120 grams

  • Walnuts - 1/2 Cups
  • Raisins - 1/2 Cups
  • Cinnamon - 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Nutmeg - 1/4 Teaspoon
  • Pepper fragrant - 1/2 Teaspoons
  • Ginger - 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Vanillin - 1 teaspoon

We begin with the test. Mix flour, sugar, salt, 100 grams of butter and yolks. We knead from this soft elastic dough. The resultant dough is wrapped in a film and placed in the refrigerator. Now, while the dough is in the fridge, we are filling. Peel the bananas from the peel, cut into small pieces and crush with a blender to the state of mashed potatoes. Raisins, meanwhile, are soaked in water. We mix banana puree, sugar, vanillin and spices. Beat with a mixer, then add crushed nuts and raisins to the mixture. We take the dough from the fridge, roll out a large cake from it. We take a baking mold (diameter - about 25 cm), grease with butter, spread the dough into it. Fork, make small holes in the test. In another container, whisk the proteins with salt to the state of steep foam. Mix the foam with the banana mixture. Pour the filling into the dough. We put it in the oven, heated to 200 degrees, bake for 5 minutes, after which we reduce the temperature to 180 degrees and bake another 25 minutes until ready. Serve chilled.
