Recipe Palmiers with cinnamon

  • Sugar - 1 glass

  • Cinnamon - 2 teaspoons
  • Puff pastry - 240 Grams

1. Preheat the oven to 220 degrees. To lace the two baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone mats. Mix sugar, cinnamon and salt in a bowl. Lightly sprinkle with a sugar mixture a clean work surface or a clean kitchen towel. Roll out the puff pastry on the work surface into a rectangle measuring 30x37 cm. Spread the sugar filling evenly over the dough. 2. Starting from the long end, tightly roll the rectangle with a roll on both sides until the two opposite sides meet together. 3. Cut the dough into slices approximately 1 cm thick and lay them on prepared trays. Cookies should be located at a sufficient distance from each other. 4. Put the baking tray in the oven and bake the biscuits for 10-12 minutes, until golden brown. After the time has passed, immediately put the cookies on the grate and allow to cool completely (the melted sugar can freeze, and the cookies will stick to the baking tray).
