Recipe for Coat (lamb in Greek)

  • Burrs Minced - 500 Grams
  • Bow - 1 piece
  • Egg - 1 piece
  • Coriander - 1.5 teaspoons
  • Cumin - 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Lemon juice - 1 teaspoon
  • Garlic - 2 Teeth
  • Mint - 1 st. a spoon
  • Lamb or vegetable broth - 20 Grams
  • For sauce: Greek yogurt - 200 Grams
  • Parsley - 2 Art. Spoons
  • Lemon juice - 1.5 teaspoons

1. Clean and finely chop the onions. Peel and finely chop the garlic. Put all the ingredients for the coffees in a large bowl and mix well with your hands. Make sure the egg is well mixed. Divide the mixture into eight equal parts and give them the shape of a ball. Well compress, so that the coffees do not fall apart during the frying. 2. Cool hands under cold running water for one minute and then give the jacket an oval shape. Once again, press the coffees so that they do not fall apart during the frying. Do not pierce the jacket with skewers during frying. This reduces the risk that they will fall apart. On medium heat in a frying pan the preparation of the coats will take approximately 6 minutes on each side. 3. While preparing the coats, mix the ingredients for the sauce with a fork for 30 seconds. Before serving on the table, chop the prepared coffees into two pieces of skewers and serve with sauce, rice, salad and tomato sauce.
