Recipe Cookies with peanut butter and honey

  • Light brown sugar - 1/2 cup
  • White sugar - 1/2 cup (plus sugar for sprinkling)
  • Unsalted butter - 220 grams
  • Flour - 1 1/3 Cups
  • Baking powder - 2 1/2 teaspoons
  • Soda - 1/2 teaspoonfuls
  • Salt - 1/4 teaspoons
  • Peanut butter - 1 cup
  • Honey - 1/2 teaspoonfuls
  • Egg - 1 piece
  • Milk - 1/4 cup

1. In a large bowl, mix the brown sugar and white sugar. Heat the butter in a medium saucepan until it becomes brown, and add sugar. Leave it aside and let the mixture cool down for about 10 minutes. 2. In a small bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, soda and salt. After the oil has cooled, add peanut butter and honey to it. Beat the mixer at medium speed until smooth. 3. Add the egg and whip. Then beat with milk. Add the flour mixture and mix until a homogeneous consistency is obtained. 4. Cover the dough and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight. Preheat the oven to 175 degrees. Line the baking tray with parchment paper or a silicone mat. Form small balls with a size of 2.5 cm from the dough. 5. Press the balls with a fork, holding it first in one direction, and then in a perpendicular direction, so that the lattice turns out to be a biscuit. Bake the biscuits in the oven until it starts to darken around the edges, about 9-10 minutes. 6. Take the cookies out of the oven, sprinkle with sugar and allow to cool on a baking sheet, after which let it cool completely on the grate.
