Recipe Baked sweet potato with onion and cheese

  • Sweet potatoes - 6 pieces (240 g each)
  • Butter - 1 Art. a spoon
  • Yellow onion - 4 pieces (sliced)
  • Sugar - 3 items. Spoons
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Ground pepper - 1/4 teaspoons
  • Balsamic vinegar - 2 st. Spoons
  • Parmesan cheese - 45 Grams (grated, about 1/2 cup)

Preheat the oven to 230 degrees. Put the potatoes on a baking sheet, bake until done, about 45 minutes. Meanwhile, melt the butter in a large frying pan over a small fire. Add the onions. Fry until the meadow is soft, about 15 minutes. Sprinkle with sugar, salt and pepper, stir. Continue frying, stirring until the onion is very soft and covered with caramel, about 1 hour. From time to time, add a tablespoon of water if the frying pan dries quickly. Add vinegar, set aside. Finished potatoes break in half and add caramelized onion and cheese. Serve warm.
