  • Vegetable oil - 3 teaspoons (better - olive)
  • Garlic - 2 Teeth
  • Shredded canned tomatoes - 800 Grams
  • Tomato puree - 3 teaspoons
  • Sugar - 2 Teaspoons
  • Leaves of fresh basil - 4 pieces

The recipe for tomato and garlic paste: 1. For cooking, you can use fresh tomatoes or tomatoes in jars. They are already cleaned in the bank. When using fresh tomatoes, they should be poured over with boiling water, peeled off and selected stems. Then finely chop. 2. So, first clean and cut the onions into small cubes. I advise you to use red, as it is more tender and sweet. But the traditional white onion is also suitable. Heat the frying pan, pour in the oil and fry the onion over a small fire until soft. 3. Then add the garlic passed through the press to the onion. Stir while frying for another minute. Then add the tomatoes, tomato puree and sugar. Stir and fry for 15 minutes. At the end, tear fresh basil leaves directly into the pan. Mix everything. Done! Tomato-garlic sauce is used for any kind of pasta, meat dishes, soups, seafood dishes, stewing. Of course, with fresh tomatoes the sauce will be much tastier. Fans of sharpened can add more garlic or fresh chili.
